The Institute of Technical Textiles (ITT) is established with the vision of creating a "Centre of Excellence" that integrates manufacturing, development and testing in the field of technical textiles. This allows for seamless development and bulk trials without any delays. We provide access to spinning, weaving, knitting, and nonwoven facilities for bulk trials, along with testing facilities where industries and researchers can conduct tests in accordance with European, International, and Indian standards. The facilities are expanding every year, and the current setup includes testing equipment for protective textiles designed to guard against thermal, mechanical, and electrostatic hazards, such as EN 407, EN 388, and BS EN 1149-1 and 3. Furthermore, ITT is dedicated to spreading awareness about technical textiles through workshops tailored for every level, from interns to business owners.
